We've implemented various calculated methods to evaluate our impact including assessments of our carbon footprint and our influence on biodiversity. Bollé Safety undertook risk assessments, audits and engagement surveys to ensure ethical work practices and dedicated employees. ESG is the bedrock of who Bollé Safety is and this is why we’ve audaciously committed to reduce the CO2 emissions per product by 35% (compared to 2022), by 2027.
Bollé Safety are the PPE eyewear specialists, renowned for comfotable, high-quality safety spectacles, safety hybrids, safety goggles & faceguards. Bollé Safety has launched many technologies, including PLATINUM, the ultimate anti-fog and anti-scratch coating and CSP lens filtering technology. Bollé Safety’s innovations aim to improve vision, protection and fit. Since 2021, Bollé Safety has significantly improved its ESG status, measuring and internally challenging aspects such as the environmental impact of our production and transportation, packaging innovations to reduce waste and material development to include more recycled plastics.
What are the different markings on Bollé safety products?
Bollé safety lenses and frames have markings which are specific to each product, which are certified by independent laboratories, and corresponds to a specific quality and resistance. To understand the level of protection, 2 types of markings must be identified:
The lens markings must be present on each lens of spectacles, goggles, or face shields. It guarantees the quality of lens, indicates the type of filtration, identifies the manufacturer, the resistances, and the CE standard. Frame markings provide similar information, which is relevant to the frames, and must be present on the frames.
