Through the aluminium oxide disc, this abrasive can help with the removal of things such as impurities, scale and rust from surfaces. The overall finish varies depending on backing pad. Medium and smooth is suited to finer grinding and rounding of edges whereas the hard and ribbed backing pad is the optimal choice for rougher grinding with high removal rates.
