VK4 PTFE Kevlar Fibre Gland Packing 1/8x8m

VK4 is specially treated with a high concentration of resilient, food quality lubricants and heavy PTFE dispersion. KEVLAR Aramid fibre lube packing, is a durable, economic general service packing for 80% of plant needs. Non-staining lubrication and resilient performance, ideal for use in the paper industry.

Temperature: -100°C +280°C.
pH range: 1 - 13.
Roll length: 8m.

Never use the product when maximum temperature and pressure are combined.

How to determine the correct Gland Packing size
• Measure diameter of shaft.
• Measure inside diameter of gland (or stuffing box).
• Gland ID - Shaft Diameter divide by 2
This figure gives you the cross section of the area to be packed.
• From the table, choose the gland packing with the closest size.
If your figure is in-between, use the next size up.
