APKW Milling Inserts
A single R.H. PCD tipped insert, used for milling aluminum leaving excellent surface finish. Use ID5 for aluminum with up to 12% silicon and ID8 for higher silicon contents (HELIMILL).
Insert Grade ID8
PCD grade for milling applications. Ideal for machining nonferrous metals, such as high silicon (>12%) aluminum alloys and metal matrix composites like Engine, gearbox and transmission components, brake disks, glass epoxy parts, etc.
