DCMT 070208-PF INSERT GRADE IC807

DCMT turning inserts feature a 55° rhombic shape with 7° positive flank. Used for semi-finishing and finishing applications on soft materials and exotic alloys. Their positive rake angle allows them to be used with low cutting forces. Grade IC807 features a tough sub-micron substrate, PVD coating and a special "SUMO TEC" surface treatment. Suitable for low-to-medium cutting speeds they are specially developed for the machining of heat resistant alloys.
