Its replaceable blade is chemically inert, never rusts, and lasts up to 11 times longer than a comparable steel blade. The installed finger-friendly® blade is safe to the touch and easy to clean so it won't stain thread or fabric. Constructed of durable reinforced nylon, the lightweight handle is designed for comfortable, easy use and features a lanyard hole to keep your 10596 close by while you're working. No extra tools are needed to change the blade.
