Markers
Markers are versatile writing and drawing instruments available in various types to suit different applications and requirements. Permanent markers contain ink that can be used on a wide range of surfaces such as paper, plastic, metal, and glass, making them a perfect allrounder. Dry-Erase, or whiteboard markers are designed for whiteboards, glass, and other smooth non-porous surfaces with the ability to remove the ink once it has dried.
When selecting markers, users should consider the material the marker will be used on, and whether they want the ink to be permanent. Tip style can also be used as a determining factor as bullet tips offer a rounded writing experience whereas a chisel tip can offer fine, or broad strokes. Ballpoints are also available which provide extra fine writing experiences. There are ergonomic and environmental considerations which selecting a marker such as a metal barrel which is more heavy duty and can be easily visible, or anti-roll caps which stop the marker from rolling off surfaces.
