DGA900Z Twin 18v LXT Brushless Paddle Switch 230mm / 9" Angle Grinder (Body Only)

Powered by two 18v batteries connected in series to run the high power 36v brushless motor which provides longer run time over conventional "brushed" motors and requires less maintenance and downtime. This unit is compact, well balanced and has an ergonomic rubber handle for reduced vibration and greater control plus a "soft start" prevents "kick back" on start up.

Features include an electronic current limiter for overload protection, automatic torque drive that changes the cutting speed according to load condition and battery indicators for over discharge and overheating protection. Safety features include Active Feedback Technology (AFT) which shuts the tool down to protect the user if the rotation speed suddenly slows, anti-restart that prevents operation if batteries are inserted while the switch is in the "ON" position and an electric brake that stops rotation almost immediately once the trigger is released.

The safety guard has an easy release system to obtain the ideal angle, a handy spindle lock in the gear housing makes blade changing a doddle and 90° side handle can be fitted both left and right handed.
