The chair is safe to use when both ascending and descending stairs because of the two restraint straps which ensure the patient is held in place. These restraints also feature a quick release buckle.
The chair is made of high-strength aluminum alloy material and can be folded which saves space in confined spaces.
In addition, there are two adjustable uplift rods at the front of the chair for lifting.
